I completed my undergraduate studies in biology at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where my earliest academic interests were rooted in wildlife and plant sciences. I now have a focus on the complexity of the human brain and neurodegenerative diseases. Through my work in the INRL, I support the collection and processing of human brain tissue to aid in the advancement of neurodegenerative disease research
