The Iowa Neuropathology Resource Lab was proud to have student representation at the 2024 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) from July 28–August 1 in Philadelphia, PA. This marked the first conference presentations for our students, who showcased their work on important aspects of early neurodegenerative disease.

Hannah Williamsen and Mikayla Hunter presented “Incidence of Early Neurodegenerative Disease Pathology in a Forensic Cohort,” while Ben Cooper presented “Selective Vulnerability to Tau Pathology in Serotonergic Dorsal Raphe Nucleus Neurons.” We commend them on this achievement and their contributions to advancing the field.
